We’ve put a few hours Into the game, and we reckon we’ve got some ideas that are going to see your scores jumping upwards — which, after all, ¡s the reason you’re playing. We’ll also answer some of the questions you have about the game — like what do you do with all of the coins that you collect?

Have your own Pencil Carving tips and tricks? Make sure you let we know in the comments section at the bottom articles, that way we can all be better off and feel comfortable self. That would be fun. It doesn't matter how big the spiral is You are in front of your chisel, if you press the screen when you hit the hurdles you won't get further. You have to let go in order to spin, which is it will allow it to destroy whatever is in front of you and let you pass.

There’s also an upwards flick when you stop scraping which will send your spiral into the air. This is how you canhit the bonus boxes that pop up — getting the timing of your release right is key to getting the best points. As soon as your spiral has knocked down a wall, you can start scraping again, even If there’s still rubble around. The more scraping you do, the more points you get, so get grinding as soon asyou can to get those combo bonuses going up.

When you pull a hand or foot off a wall, you can’t just leave it dangling and pick another limb to stretch. Leave a limb dangling and you’ll find the others grey out. You can only choose a new limb when all four are stuck down.

It’s a good idea to make small moves instead of trying to dangle a limb. Small moves won’t stretch you out and you’ll be better placed to make it to where you need to go.

You can also get your points up by making sure you’re scraping even when there’s only a small stretch of wood or gold. You should always be looking for ways to get more points, even if it’s just a couple here and there. Strangely enough, they don’t seem to be for anything. Sure there’s loads of them scattered around the levels, but there Isn’t anyway to spend them.

They might become useful in a later update, so irs worth trying to pick up as many as you can, but don’t put your run in danger to try and get loads — right now points are what matters.

When your run comes to a premature end it’s always worthl watching a video to keep going. There’s a very good chance you’re going to have to watch a video before your next go anyway, so you may as well keep your points going. It’s a bit annoying, and no mistake, but It’s a sacrifice you’re going to have to make if you want to get the best scores. I
